Teacher Bio
Ms. Susan has taught Kindermusik for 27 years. She originated the Kindermusik program while teaching private piano at Weber State University. She taught Kindermusik at WSU for 10 years before opening her private studio in her hometown of Farr West Utah. Ms. Susan has many endorsements to teach early childhood music. Her accomplishments include: Teaching Kindermusik and Piano for 27 years at the university level...Presenting at state and local MTNA chapter meetings and becoming a certified group piano teacher. Trusted. Proven. Educated, Ms. Susan has also received additional certification and licensing in Orff Schulwerk, Kodaly, Music Rhapsody, Musikgarten, and Kindermusik. Ms. Susan actively participates and presents in early childhood music and movement seminars all over the country to continue her early childhood music education. Ms. Susan's studio proudly offers Kindermusik, the world's leading provider of music and movement programs for young children! BUT MOST OF ALL, Ms. Susan loves teaching little children music and seeing the joy, anticipation, love and magic MUSIK brings to each child and their parent as they move, sing and dance together in her music classes. My weekly Kindermusik and movement classes provide research-based activities that stimulate your child's growing mind and body. Find out more about our classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids by checking out the class offerings above. Kindermusik is non-sequential so you can enroll your child at any time throughout the semester. JUST A REMINDER....There will be no class the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Spring break. Kindermusik also has beautiful materials sent home each Fall and Spring semesters. 2 unique CDs of class music that you will love as much as your child does, 2 captivating children's books to instill a love of reading, a guide to bring the magic home where your child learns best and a special instrument that enhances the class theme: from kid-friendly harmonicas to a stir-xylophone or ankle bells.
